Imagine you have 20 5MB movie clips and you want to watch them all at once. If you use a conventional viewer you would have to wait for it to buffer the stream and then you may have connection problems which break up or pause the stream while you are watching.
What Stream Movie Plus does is play all the clips back to back with no break ups or pausing in between (depending on the speed of your connection). All you have to do is input all the links for all 20 clips and then press play. You will have to wait for the first clip to download but the next one is download while you watch the first clip (and so on) so once the first clip is over the next one will play straight away (assuming the next clip downloaded before the previous clip finished playing). So you can watch all 20 clips with no break ups in between.
All files download are stored in the smpfiles folder and the play directory function can then be used to playback the files later on.
You can also play single media files on disk or url streams, using 'Play media On Disk' or 'Play URL'.
Wildcards can be used to input links to clips. For example to play http://movie.com/movie01.mpg which has 10 clips from 01 to 10 you would enter the link as http://movie.com/movie and set the first link 'DIGIT' as 1 and the last as 10. It would then download and play all ten clips automatically back to back.
